Review: Charlie's Planner Goodies

Hi everyone!

I am so sorry about the absence here on my blog lately. Things have been hectic to say the least but I have a few posts planned for the coming weeks so hopefully I can get back into the swing of things for you guys. I miss blogging a lot.

Today I have a review of a planner item to share with you!

This item is from a fairly new shop, Charlie's Planner Goodies. She sells her items through her Facebook page.

She sells cute items for Filofaxes/similar planners including dashboards, monthly sticky tabs as well as dividers.
I have one of Charlotte's handmade dashboards to show you today, which has an elastic pen loop attached to it! The one I have to show you is a Pocket sized dashboard, but she does them for all the Filofax sizes.

Her dashboards is made of a sturdy card stock and is covered with a patterned paper of your choice. They have a thick elastic pen loop on the right hand side.

The dashboard I have, is a very cute pastel polka dot pattern. Here it is inside my Small Lilac Kikki.K planner.

The elastic pen loop is quite thick and will hold most pens. I used a Pilot Hi-Tec-C Coleto pen and a thick Sharpie Pen in it, and it held them very well.
I think the loop is too wide to hold something like a Frixion Slim pen (it may slip through), but if you do want it specifically to hold a slim pen, I'm sure Charlotte would accommodate that for you.

When I first tried out this dashboard, to be honest, I was a little worried that it would not hold up over time and may be flimsy, but was proven wrong. I used it for a couple of weeks and it was fine and has held up nicely! I wouldn't go tugging on it like crazy, or trying to fit a huge pen in it, but if you treat it nicely I'm sure it will last you quite some time!

This dashboard will be great for anyone who wants to add an extra pen loop to their planner. I definitely could have used these when I had a Kate Spade planner as the pen loops on those can be very tight and it was hard to find a pen to fit in! But even if your planner's pen loop is fine, it's always nice to be able to carry an extra pen.

Charlotte's dashboards are $6 for Mini/Pocket size and $8 for Personal/A5 size.

Charlotte also sells some other planner items such as monthly tabs and dividers (in particular superhero/comic dividers which look so awesome!). Be sure to check out her Facebook page to see what she's got to offer! Send her a message or write a post on her page. She's super nice!

Thanks for reading, everyone! I hope you'll come back soon as I hope to get myself back into the swing of things on here, especially in the new year! ♥

{Unboxing} Kikki K Pink Textured Planner

Hi guys!
Ah, I feel like I say this every time I post but I'm so sorry for the lack of posts. Argh, I feel really awful about it. I'm sorry! I have been pretty busy with my Etsy shop lately, and other stuff. You know how it goes!

Anyway, I shared a video on my YouTube channel on Friday showing an unboxing of my new Pink Textured Kikki.K Planner! You can check it out here, or watch below! :)

I hope to have a video up later this week or early next week, showing how I'm using this planner and my current planning system. I'm trying to figure out what works best for me, but it just keeps changing!

I'm able to film more videos now, which is great, so if you have any video requests, be sure to let me know!

Thanks for reading/watching. ♥

Filofax Original Patent Purple {First Impressions}

Happy Filofax Friday friends! :)

Today I have another Planner First Impressions. {Check out my Large Kikki.K Lilac First Impressions & my Small Kikki.K Lilac First Impressions.}

This is the Filofax Original in the Patent Purple colour, in Personal size.

I kind of bought this on a whim from eBay, to be quite honest. I was looking at a few different Filofaxes, and this one was the cheapest {and was located here in Australia} so I bought it. {If you are looking for one of these, Peters of Kensington usually has them in stock.}
A day or two after buying it, I was having second thoughts.
I have had a Filofax Original before {in Fluro Pink} and loved it, but I had watched some videos on YouTube of the Patent Purple and wasn't sure how I'd feel about it. Being Patent Purple, it's shiny and glossy, whereas the Fluro Pink had much more of a matte look. A medium tone purple like this isn't something I would usually reach for, either.
Plus, the package took a whole week to get to me from just two states away, when it really should have only taken 3-4 days max. {Not the seller's fault, of course.} That was a bit frustrating, because I'm super impatient with mail.
I thought that when I received this, that I wouldn't be impressed and I'd just want to sell it straight away.

Buuuut I actually really like it!

The leather is shiny as expected, but not in a tacky way. Some photos and videos I'd seen had made the shine look a bit tacky and unattractive. But in real life, it's much nicer! :) I love the feeling of the leather!

I'm happy to report that this Original that I have is the newer version.
The first release Original Filofax had a shorter strap and people were finding it hard to fit a lot in. The newer version's strap is a bit less than 4 inches long, and the older one was 3.5. It might not sound like much, but apparently it makes a huge difference!

I love the simplicity of the interior of the Filofax Original, but lately I've actually been utilizing the pockets in my Filofaxes - I never used to use the pockets. So it will be a bit different to go from lots of pockets in my Malden, to almost no pockets in the Original.

I also love how the Originals almost lay flat right out of the package. This one doesn't lay quite as flat as my Fluro Pink one did but it's still quite flat. The one thing that annoys me about my Malden, is that it doesn't lay totally flat on the table.

My Original didn't come with everything that a brand new Original is supposed to come with, which is the only thing I'm a bit bummed about. The seller did mark it as Brand New, but in the description they said that only the 2014 Diary, dividers, note paper {it ended up being only the grid paper}, ruler and note pad were included. I would have really liked to have gotten the top loading envelope because I don't have one {I sold all mine when I thought I wasn't using Personal size anymore. D'oh!}, but oh well. I'll get one eventually.
The Filofax itself is definitely brand new, though. I can't see any signs of use and I received it in the plastic protective packaging.

My Original & My Malden. ♥

As you can see, the leather of the Purple Original is pretty shiny, because you can see my reflection in it!

Purple Original in the sun. :)

I'm super glad that I decided to try out the Purple Original. It is really nice!

Small Kikki K Lilac Planner Update

As promised in my Small Kikki.K Lilac Planner First Impressions post, today I have an update on the planner! :)

I also got a new camera, so I can give you some better photos!

Here is my little pretty. I have been using her for about a week now.

In my first impressions post, I had said that I was a little disappointed with this planner.
I felt that the quality wasn't as nice as my Large Kikki.K planner*, and the rings weren't as great as I had hoped. They are much smaller than my other Pocket size planners, and they also had some slight gaps.

{*The Large Kikki.K planner is actually on its way to a new home! Not because I didn't like it, I loved it! But I am not using A5 size planners anymore. I bought the Small one, because I still wanted to have one of these gorgeous planners in my collection.}

However, after my week of using this beauty, I'm much happier!

I do feel that this one is a little more stiff than the Large planner was, but I actually don't mind it now. It makes it easy to write on when I don't have a table to lean on.

I did have to reduce the amount of inserts/information I keep in my planner when I moved into the Small Kikki.K from my Filofax Malden {that baby holds a lot}, but it's okay. I would prefer the rings to be a little larger, but oh well.

I do still think that this planner would work better as a wallet, or for someone who doesn't want to keep much in their planner.

It's not my favourite planner, but I do really like it now. :) It's very cute!

I will also have a set up video of this planner on my YouTube channel ASAP, so stay tuned for that.

Thanks for reading. ♥

Kikki.K Small Lilac Time Planner {First Impressions}

Hi friends! I hope your week is going well so far. :)

Today I have another planner First Impressions for you! I did one of these about a month ago, here, on the same product that I'm going to be showing you today, but in a different size!

This is the Kikki.K Small Lilac Time Planner for 2015. {Review on the Large size.} This planner retails for $39.95 on the Kikki.K website. They can also be found in some Kikki.K stores.
The Lilac Time Planner line was released at the end of July. At the time of writing, all 3 sizes are available on the website.

FEATURES / LAYOUT

The Small Kikki.K planner is equivalent to a Pocket size Filofax, which is my current favourite planner size and what I am using every day.
This is my first time ever owning a Small Kikki.K planner. I have only ever owned Medium or Large.

The leather is a pretty lilac colour, with gold diamonds on the outside. The inside is plain lilac leather.

The insides of this planner are very similar to the Large one, obviously, but it's a little more simple.
On the left you have 3 card slots and a secretarial pocket.

The tabs that you get in the Small Kikki.K planner are different to the Medium or Large, as the planner is obviously a lot smaller.
The tabs and inserts that come in this planner are Monthly View, Weekly View and Addresses.

The rings in the Lilac planner are gold, to match the lilac/gold colour scheme.
I'm not sure what size these rings are, but they are definitely smaller than the rings in my Filofax Pocket Malden, which has 19mm rings.

At the back of the planner, there is slot with a notepad in it.

The planner has an elastic pen loop, and an elastic closure.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS / OPINION

I have to say, I was a little nervous when I was first opening up my planner. Although I had a great experience with my Large planner which arrived in good condition, I had heard a few people say that theirs arrived damaged and had some defects, especially regarding the rings. However, they were able to get a replacement or refund.
To be 100% honest, my planner did not arrive in "perfect" condition. I do believe that all of the rings have a small gap to them, which is unfortunate. But for me, not a deal breaker, unless they were very damaged. I'm not really the type of person to return something unless it is extremely damaged or unusable, so I won't be returning my planner.

While I love the look of the Lilac planner, I don't think that the quality of my Small planner is quite the same as the Large. I can't quite explain how. It doesn't feel as "squishy" or soft as the Large.

I thought it was also worth mentioning that the Small planner does not lay flat, unlike the Large planner which does. I'm sure you could get it to lay flat with some training.

I also was a little disappointed by the size of the rings. It feels much smaller than my Filofax Pocket Malden, which I mentioned above.
As soon as I received the planner, I moved right in. I'm the kind of person who likes to stuff my Filofax very full, and I just can't do that with this Kikki.K planner. I had to remove quite a lot of my inserts in order to fit everything inside.
I think this may work better as a wallet, rather than an everyday planner. However, I will try it out and see how it goes.

I thought I'd also mention why I purchased the Small size.
If you follow me on Instagram, or have read my last few blog posts, you will know that I am now using a Pocket {or Small in Kikki.K terms} size planner as my everyday planner.
I was using an A5 {or Large} size for a couple of weeks near the end of July and start of August, before realising that it wasn't working for me, which is when I decided to try out Pocket size.
I had thought I'd use my Large Kikki.K Lilac planner as my Blog/Etsy planner. Well, that didn't happen. I barely touched it since I started using a Pocket size.
I have decided to sell my Large planner, as I don't see myself using it again and didn't want to have it laying around, unused. {It is on hold for someone at the moment.} It is such a beautiful planner, but Large the size isn't great for me right now. This is why I have purchased the Small size!

I hope this post was helpful for you to see how the Small Lilac Time Planner from Kikki.K looks and what I think about it.
I'll hopefully bring you an update on it here soon, if not you'll definitely know by looking at my Instagram account.

Thanks for reading. ♥

Insert/Refill Options For Your Planner {Filofax Friday}

Hi guys! Happy Filofax Friday!

Today I have the next post in my Getting Started series for you. In the first post I went over the different brands of planners there are. If you missed that, you can check it out here.

In this post I'll be talking about insert options for your planner! I'll mostly be discussing inserts and calender styles for binder/ring style planners here, as you can't really change your inserts in any other planner.

You can definitely go ahead and use whichever inserts come with the planner you choose to purchase, but if they for any reason don't suit your needs, you might be looking for some different options.
With 2015 coming up in a few short months, many of you will be looking for some new inserts/refills for your planner.

When it comes to inserts, there are a few different styles that are the most common.
  • Week on 2 Pages {also known as Week To View, or WO2P}.
  • Month on 2 Pages {also known as Month To View or MO2P}.
  • Day Per Page {also known as Day on 1 Page or DO1P / DPP}.
There are many more styles out there, but these are the most common. Most planners/organizers will come with at least one of these styles already included in the planner.

There are many different places that you can choose to purchase your inserts. Each brand will offer different styles and types of pages for your planner.

A few brands that make planner inserts are Filofax, kikki.K, and Kate Spade {for Aussies the K.S. inserts are a bit harder to find. I have seen some on eBay}. There are many more, but I think these are the most popular for inserts available in stores or online.

Another great place to find inserts is Etsy. Etsy is amazing for planner inserts! You can find pretty much any style that you want, in any style you want! There are so many amazing creators/shops that I can't name them all. Most of the inserts you will find on Etsy are printables however, so you'll need to print/cut/punch them at home.
Shameless plug: I actually offer some printables on my Etsy shop if you are interested. :)

I have tried many many many types of inserts in the 6-ish months that I have been using a Filofax planner. It's kind of embarrassing actually. I love trying out new inserts and switching things up!

Most of the inserts I use nowadays are printables, because I'm impatient and don't want to wait for new inserts to come in the mail. And to be honest, they tend to work out a bit cheaper too. Sure, it's more work for me but I really don't mind it! I find it quite relaxing and fun, now that I've gotten comfortable with printing, punching and cutting my inserts.

My favourite Etsy shop to get my inserts would have to be DIYFish. I always come back to her great inserts. They are the best I have found so far. She has so so so many different options, and I know, it can be a little overwhelming. I recommend checking out her blog and looking at the Catalogue. I love that even in my Pocket planner, I still have enough room to write with her inserts.

I hope this helped you a little, and you've learned a bit about the types of inserts that are out there and made your decision a little easier.

Let me know which inserts you love to use in your planner!

Thank you so much for reading. ♥ I hope you have an amazing weekend.

Filofax Pocket Ochre Malden | My new baby! ♥

Today a new planner joined my little planner family. I actually just uploaded a setup of my Filofax Pocket Finsbury this morning, when my new baby arrived! I moved in right away.

Some of you probably think it's crazy how often new planners are coming into my possession, but I never keep them all! If I don't fall in love, I'll sell or swap it with someone. I won't keep a large collection for the sake of it as I feel like it's a huge waste and makes me feel so guilty!
Right now, I have 3 planners total in my collection and I am using two of them. I talked about that a bit in my new video.

This little beauty is the Filofax Pocket Malden in the Ochre colour. This is the second Ochre Malden that I've owned. I used to own it in Personal size too.
This is the first Filofax I've owned that actually came in a box! I've only had a couple of other brand new Filofaxes, and they came with the plastic cover sort of thing that they seem to all come with now. I was pleasantly suprised to have a box. :)

I love how the Maldens are all very unique to each other. The leather varies from planner to planner. The Personal size Ochre that I used to have, was more of a light brown, leaning more yellow than my Pocket size Ochre, which you can see is more reddish brown. The colour in the photos is pretty spot on to the colour in real life. The colour does change in different lighting and when you move it around in the light. The leather also varies in how smooth/wrinkled it is. The leather feels so beautiful and smooth. And it smells really nice too. Haha.

If you watched the video, or if you follow me on Instagram, you would know that I'm now using a Pocket size Filofax as my everyday planner! I'm really enjoying it. I can take my planner with me everywhere I go, no matter what handbag I'm using at the time. And I just love how little and cute it looks!!
I was inspired by Organized Jen's vlog, and @filo_newbie14 on Instagram to move into a Pocket size. I'm so glad I did!
My set up in this planner is exactly the same as what I showed in my video. I'm currently using DIYFish's inserts in my planner, and I find that with these inserts I have plenty of room to write what I need to which is really great.

In case you are wondering, I am still using my Kikki.K Large Time Planner in Lilac. I'm using it as my blog & Etsy shop planner. :) I usually don't need to take it with me, so it just stays at home.

Here is my video of my Pocket Finsbury, if you're interested!

Be sure to check back here tomorrow because it's Filofax Friday! ♥

Happy Saturday.

Happy Saturday morning everyone! {Or whatever day/time it is when you're reading this!} I hope your weekend is off to a great start.

I hadn't planned on posting a blog post today, but I just got the urge to write something. So here I am!

I'm pretty excited that it's the weekend! Saturday in particular. Saturdays are probably my favourite day. I love Saturday mornings! I don't really know why. I don't sleep in, I get up at the same time as I do every other day. Something about Saturday morning is just nice.
Saturday afternoons, we usually do our food shopping and then spend the rest of the day at home.
And then Saturday nights, my husband and I have a date night, which is always fun, no matter what we do! A lot of the time we just stay home and watch a movie {it's too cold go to out!}. So Saturdays are definitely my favourite!
What is your favourite day of the week?!

I just painted my nails this morning, and I felt like showing you {and my pretty Kikki.K in the background}! I've used Face of Australia "Jafar", a super dark, deep red {almost black!}, from their Dark Side collection. I absolutely love this collection.

I have to be honest, though. These are not my nails. They're actually fake glue-on nails. I was trying to grow out my nails to this length/shape but it was just not happening. And I got so impatient. So, I bought some glue on nails. I told myself I'd never wear fake nails after I had acrylics back in the day, but I really like these! I don't think they actually look very fake {my opinion - you may think otherwise}. I know they'll only last me maybe 5-7 days maximum, because by then they will probably look a bit gross, but that's fine with me!

I uploaded an updated look at my Kikki.K Lilac Planner set up on my YouTube channel the other day, if you're interested in seeing that!
I am absolutely loving my Kikki.K Lilac planner and I haven't moved out of it since I got it, which is weird for me. I can't even see myself moving out of it soon.

I hope you all have a fantastic weekend! ♥ Let me know what you're getting up to!

Getting Started: Choosing A Planner #1 {Filofax Friday}

Today I will be sharing the second installment of my new series, Filofax Friday! Every Friday (or most Fridays, anyway) I will be posting a Filofax or planner related post! These posts will cover a lot of different topics from organization, reviews, decorating, tutorials, and more. Some may also include videos!

Last week's Filofax Friday post, was a first impressions/review of the new Lilac Kikki.K Time Planner.

I have received a lot of questions (mostly on Instagram), asking about how to get started using a planner/personal organizer, how to choose one, etc. I will try to cover all of those questions in my Filofax Friday series!

Today I'll be talking a bit about the types and brands of planners that are out there. The next post will be about sizes, and how to choose a planner for your needs.

There are many, many, many, many types of planners out there in the planning world. There are many different sizes, materials, and prices, too!
Some types of planners include a binder ring style (my personal favourite), traditional notebook style and coil/spiral bound. There are surely others out there, but I would say that they are the most common.
Binder style planners are probably the most popular with planner lovers. They are super customisable, as you can open up and close the rings as you please, like a binder, and remove/replace the inserts, or move them around, whatever you want to do. This also means that you can potentially use the same planner for years, just by putting in new inserts for each year! This is great news for anyone who is put off by the price of some leather planners. They may be a bit pricey now, but if you take great care of it, it could last you a long time!
Notebook and coil/spiral bound planners are also very popular, however. And their popularity seems to be increasing lately in the planner community. These types of planners would be the most common/popular in the world, rather than the planner world.
Within each type of planner, there are also different closure types. Some have a button, some have an elastic band, some might have a magnetic closure, some have a zip closure, and some have no closure. It all comes down to your personal preference. It's really nice that there are so many options out there.

Now let's talk about a few popular brands. I will keep this list down to the planners that I have personally tried, or heard a lot about. These brands are all available online. I like to search eBay for my planners, as well as Facebook swap/sell/trade groups, or buy directly from a retailer.

Filofax
Filofax is a company, based in the UK. The company was founded in 1921! Whoa. Filofax are well known for their personal organisers (another name for 'planners'). Most of their personal organisers are made of leather and feature the 6 ring binder system.
I would say that Filofax is the most popular brand out there for the binder style planner. They make a huge range of styles, colours and sizes to suit anyone's needs, and their planners are beautifully made and great quality.
Filofaxes make many sizes of their organisers, but the most popular/common sizes are A5, Personal and Pocket! I'll be talking about planner sizes in my next post, and how to choose a size that suits your needs.

Here are a few of the Filofaxes I have had.

Filofax Personal size "Malden" in Ochre colour. I really miss this one!

Filofax Pocket size "Patent" in Purple. I used this as my wallet for a while.

Kikki.K.
Kikki.K is a brand that I have known about for a few years now, but didn't fall in love with them until this year. I couldn't find as much information about Kikki.K online, but I do know that their first boutique store opened over 10 years ago. Kikki.K is a Swedish home/office style brand. They specialize in super cute stationery and office supplies. Despite being a "Swedish" brand, there are actually no Kikki.K stores in Sweden! Their main stores are based here in Australia, and there are also stores in Singapore, and New Zealand as far as I know. Kikki.K is well known for their super adorable designs! And not to mention, their cute-as-a-button planners. They make many different styles of planners, but their leather binder ring style planners would definitely be the most popular. They also make notebook style planners. Kikki.K actually just released their new range of Time Planners for 2015 a few weeks ago. See my first impressions here.

Here is another Kikki.K planner that I have had:

Kikki.K 2014 Medium size Mint Time Planner. This planner is now quite hard to find. I miss this one also.

Kate Spade New York.
Kate Spade is a brand that most people would have heard of. Kate Spade are most well known for their handbags and fashion items. Owning something from Kate Spade had never come across my mind, until I heard that they made planners! Kate Spade leather planners are highly sought after in the planner community (especially the older, discontinued styles) and rightfully so, as they are beautifully made in my opinion! Their planners also have very wide rings, which is great for those who like to stuff their planner with lots of information. :)
Kate Spade also make several different designs in a notebook style planner, which is also very nice!

Kate Spade Wellesley Zipped Planner in Black.

Erin Condren.
Erin Condren is a brand that has become extremely popular over the past 6 months or so. They are most popular for their Life Planners. These planners are coil bound, but they are more than your average notebook or spiral bound planner. They come with lots of extras including stickers, a zip pouch, and their covers are even interchangeable! Their planners are super colourful, bright and fun, and feature a lot of cute and motivational quotes throughout the planner. Erin Condren also makes Teacher Planners. {This is the only brand that I have not tried from this list, but it is extremely popular, so I thought it was worth sharing!}
These are just a few of the options out there. There are many brands that make planners.

I actually don't own any of the planners that I showed in this post anymore. I swap and sell my planners quite frequently. Usually to fund more planner purchases. ;) But I do miss some of these ones!

I hope this post helped you get started in your planning journey if you haven't yet, or maybe opened your eyes to some brands out there that you haven't tried.

In next week's post, I will be talking more about Filofax / Filofax style planners and their sizes, and which one to choose to suit your needs, so be sure to check back for that! :)

If you have any requests for posts {or possibly YouTube videos} you would like to see in the future in the Filofax Friday series, please be sure to leave me a comment below and I will add your suggestion to my list. :)

Thanks for reading, and I hope you all have a fantastic weekend!
Happy planning! ♥

Kikki.K Lilac Time Planner - First Impressions {Filofax Friday}

Hi everyone! Welcome to my first Filofax Friday post! I hope to post one of these every week. Fridays will be all things Filofax/planner related. Tips, tutorials, hauls; you name it!
My first Filofax Friday is pretty exciting, I think!

This week, Kikki.K has released their new Time Planner line for 2015! (If you aren't aware, Kikki.K is a Swedish inspired stationery store. Their main stores are here in Australia, as well as other stores in Singapore and New Zealand. I think they will soon have stores in the US too!) The 2014 Mint Time Planner was hugely successful and people are still hunting them down and paying crazy prices to get their hands on one! I was super excited to hear that the 2015 version was released and purchased myself one to try! I absolutely love the Kikki.K planners I've tried so far. I think they are really great for the price. (They are the cheapest leather planners out there that I've found.) The 2015 Time Planner is quite similar in design to the 2014 planner but I thought I would share my first impressions with you today, and how the planner comes when you purchase it.

I thought I should mention that the Time Planner is not the same as the Berry/Grey Kikki.K Personal Planners that are still available for purchase online. (If you have a look at the Personal Planner on their website, you can see how it differs from the Time Planner.)

Update 3/8/14 - I have uploaded a video of my set up of this Kikki.K planner! If you're interested, check it out here, or at the end of this post.

Note: This post is picture heavy! :)

First off, the 2015 Time Planner is made of really nice leather, in a lilac colour, with small gold foil diamonds all over it. I absolutely love the colour. The colour is quite different to the pictures on the website, however. It is much more of a true lilac purple, whereas the website makes it look pink. Just a thought for those who may not have liked it from the pictures online. Although, the colour is not that easy to photograph.

The Time Planner comes in 3 sizes (Small, Medium and Large). I decided to try out the Large as I'm now using an A5/Large plannerMore about that in another post!

The Time Planner has an elastic closure. I know some people really aren't a fan of this. Personally, I do prefer a button/snap closure but the elastic isn't too bad. I do worry that it may get dirty with use. Although it should be fairly easy to clean.

Inside, on the left you will see 3 credit/business card pockets, 1 larger pocket, one secretarial pocket, one zipper pocket and one full length pocket. So it's safe to say you have a lot of pockets here.
I noticed that behind the secretarial pocket, it is lined with cute black and white fabric! I don't believe that the 2014 Time Planner had this type of lining behind the pocket. It was a cute surprise!

In the pocket, was this cute card that says "2015 Live it Love it". I think this would be cute to use next year!

The next thing, I am super excited about. Gold rings! I love gold rings in a planner. I think it looks gorgeous. The rings on my planner are awesome. No gaps or anything like that, which I was so happy about. I know that's very important to some people.
Something that is different with the 2015 planner is that there is paper around the rings to protect them from denting the leather, rather than fabric like last year's. That's no big deal to me, because I'll be removing that before I use the planner (as I assume most people would).

The dividers in the 2015 planner are cute. I wasn't a fan of the dividers that came in the 2014 planner, as they were a dark navy colour. For 2015, you get these cute light pink dividers, with gold writing on the tabs! The tabs that come in the planner are Monthly View, Weekly View, Addresses, Birthdays & Anniversaries, Shops & Restaurants, To Do, and Expenses. I like these dividers much more than last year, but I probably won't be using them in my planner as I wouldn't use most of these sections.

The "This Week" ruler that comes with this planner is a clear frosted style, and the writing on it is pink. I think that this ruler is a little thinner and less durable than last year's ruler, but it's not awful.

Each section in the planner comes with inserts. Most of these are the exact same as from the 2014 planner, so most people would be familiar with them. The paper that comes in the planner is fairly thin, so you probably wouldn't be able to use a felt tip pen or anything without it bleeding through.
Here are the inserts. The pictures are fairly self explanatory. (Sorry! I forgot to include a photo of the monthly inserts! I will try to update the post soon with a photo.)

(The To Do pages have perforated lines so you can rip out your lists! I think this is pretty cool!)

In the back of the planner, you have a Notes pad. I believe these pages are the same size as the paper in the planner, so you could punch holes in your notes and insert them into your planner.

You also get an elastic pen loop, which I like. I much prefer elastic pen loops over leather, as you can use almost any pen in it.

On the back of the planner, "Kikki.K" is embossed.

Overall, I am super happy with my new planner! I absolutely adore the lilac colour. I am very happy with the quality as well! I cannot wait to move into it. I'll be sure to do an update post when I have set it up. There weren't too many changes from the 2014 planner, to the new 2015 one.
My planner was packaged lovely, with lots of bubble wrap, as usual. Kikki.K always packages nicely.

If you're interested in checking out the new Time Planners, you can find them here. I can't guarantee they will be available for long, though! They tend to sell out quickly as they are so popular.

Update 3/8/14 - I've uploaded a set up video of my lilac Kikki.K!

Thanks for reading! If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask! I will be happy to help. :) ♥
