Hello everyone! I was a little stunned when Lissa asked me to do a guest post for her. Since I don't usually do nail art or anything fancy. But I do know quite a bit about Indie polish brands. I know, I know... When people think of indie polish they usually think of glitter. But this is not a post about glitter... As much as I love my indie glitters. All I feel like wearing on my nails lately are cremes and shimmer. Now, the problem with a lot of mass market shimmers (except the glass fleck Zoya kind) is that they are usually amazing in the bottle and blah on the nails.

Today, I am going to share with you all my favorite indie brands Takko Lacquer. Takko Lacquer is an AMAZING handmade nail polish brand created by the wonderful Miss Sheryl. She is always interacting with people on Twitter and Instagram and the shimmer in her creations is flipping wonderful!!! What you see in the bottle is what you get on the nails. No hidden shimmer here folks. This is my manicure featuring a hot favorite Wanderlust.

Wanderlust is a grey with purple undertones and aqua/teal shimmer. This is 3 coats of polish. The formula on these is a little on the thick side. But, they are so easy to work with.
