Hey guys! I have a new Aussie indie brand to introduce to you today! MCKresh Nail Attire is releasing their first collection tomorrow. The Labyrinth collection is based on the 1986 movie, Labyrinth (obviously, haha). I have seen the movie once about 8 years ago and I don't even think I saw the whole thing so I can't remember much of it and I don't really know the inspiration behind the polishes but I think many of you will understand. :)
I have 4 polishes from this 13 piece collection to show you today.
**Please excuse my skin in these photos - for some reason it looks different in almost every photo lol!**
Dance Magic Dance is a clear base, with a mix of turquoise, purple and white glitters in different shapes and sizes. Some are iridescent.

Dance Magic Dance is a clear base, with a mix of turquoise, purple and white glitters in different shapes and sizes. Some are iridescent.
For my personal preference, I found the base to be a bit too thin. Or perhaps not enough glitter to base ratio? In my opinion anyway, some people might find it great. :) I found it a little hard to get enough glitter on the brush to cover the nail. But apart from that, I love the colour combo and think this topper is really versatile and could be used over loads of colours!
I've layered 1 coat of Dance Magic Dance over Essie Borrowed & Blue plus one coat of Seche Vite top coat.
Ludo is a sheer black jelly base with orange-y copper, gold and brown small glitters and bars.
I had no problems with the formula on this one. It applied pretty smoothly! I did use a 'dabbing' sort of method to apply it to get more glitter on the nail. The only thing was that I did experience the bar glitters sticking up a little.
This is 3 coats of Ludo with top coat. As you can see, it's still quite sheer on its own so it may look better applied over a black creme or with a 4th coat. It didn't actually look quite as sheer as it does in my photos, as it did in person though.
T.B.O.E.S is a minty blue jelly base with a mix of blue, green, gold and white glitters.
The formula on this was great. Easy to spread on the nail and I had no problems with having to fish for glitter or anything like that.

PLEASE excuse how bad this photo is - a combination of the lighting + the colour of this polish made my skin go weird! |
Toby is a nude jelly base with small red hex, larger red squares, white bars and large white hex glitters.
The formula on this one was again really nice. The large white glitters were a bit hard to get out but nothing too bad!
This one kinda reminds me of blood and bones. Haha I had to find out the inspiration behind this one so I Googled and found that Toby is a baby who's wearing a red and white striped onesie/jumpsuit/whatever you want to call it. I see now where the idea behind this one comes from, hehe.
This is 3 coats of Toby with top coat.
These polishes are excellent for MCKfresh's first collection! All 4 polishes that I reviewed are super unique to my personal collection.
My favourite out of the 4 I tried is T.B.O.E.S. I adore the colour combo! My second favourite would be Dance Magic Dance. It's an awesome mix of glitters and could be layered over soo many colours.
