Pedi Sox Review

Hey guys! A couple of weeks ago ago I received some Pedi Sox for review. I was unbelievably excited to get them. Just as excited as getting polish. I don't really know why, I just love anything to do with nail care and everything for manicures & pedicures!

Ps. Don't worry, I won't show any feet photos in this post!

Pedi Sox are toeless socks that are designed to be worn right before painting the toenails in a pedicure. They come in a whole bunch of different colours and styles too! Some of the benefits of Pedi Sox are:
  • They promote winter pedicures! I know a lot of us will put off doing pedicures in winter because our feet will get too cold!
  • They help aide moisture absorption for softer, smoother feet. They'll lock in moisture from creams and treatments used in the pedicure.
  • Feet will stay clean. After a pedicure especially, your feet will be like magnets for dirt and dust.
  • They help soften and fade calluses and help to repair dry, cracked heels.
  • Feet will look and feel healthier.
  • If you're using gel polish on your toes, they can also protect from the UV light.
Even if you don't do your own pedicure, you can bring these to the salon (some salons may even carry them)!

I was sent two pairs of the California Weight Pedi Sox, one in B&W Polka Dot and in Springtime Violet, as well as one pair of the Original Pedi Sox in Pink Logo. The California Weight Pedi Sox are really light weight, they're designed to be worn in a California Summer but are suitable for all year round. The Original Pedi Sox are thicker and would be more suitable for colder weather.

When receiving these socks I was super excited to see how they would make my feet feel, mostly. Summer has just about finished up here, it's starting to get colder, and all throughout the summer I only wore enclosed shoes (like sneakers) once or twice. In summer I wear flip flops or go barefoot every day so my feet are now feeling very dry and neglected. :(

So, for my first time trying my Pedi Sox, I did my regular full pedicure routine, but I added the Pedi Sox as an extra step, after applying a moisturising cream to my feet, and before painting my nails.
I put on the Original Pedi Sox and my feet were able to soak up all the moisture from the creams etc, without getting cold or smearing all over the floor (lol!). Then I painted my nails, left the socks on and went to bed.
In the morning I took the socks off and my feet felt INCREDIBLY smooth! WAY smoother than they felt every other time after I've given myself a pedi! I was blown away with how lovely my feet felt!
I would definitely 100% recommend these lovely socks to anyone who loves having their feet look nice and pedicured all year round.

Pedi Sox can be purchased at the Pedi Sox website, and are also available at some salons in the US and Canada. For Australians, if you're a beauty supplier or from a salon, Pedi Sox can be purchased through Creative New Edge Salon Supply (call 03-9484-1889). So unfortunately you can't purchase Pedi Sox in Australia unless through a professional nail tech or a nail salon that sells Pedi Sox. I would recommend asking a local nail technician if they stock them, or if they would be willing to help you get a pair. That would have to be the only negative about Pedi Sox in my opinion. They're a bit hard for Aussie customers to get their hands on.

So what is your favourite pedicure colour? :) I mainly stick to pink, reds and purples for my pedi. How about you?
