Gloss n Sparkle Edge of the World

Today I have the polish I wore on Mother's Day (May 12th) to show you!
I was originally planning on doing something super sweet and girly for Mother's Day but this polish was calling to me from my untried basket so I just had to wear it. ;)
This is Gloss n Sparkle's Edge of the World. It's a slightly teal-ish green jelly base with blue and green glitters and it has a beautiful holographic shimmer in it too! Unfortunately I struggled to pick up that shimmer in my photos! The morning was beautiful and sunny but by the time I got home in the late afternoon and took my photos, the sun had gone and hidden. :(
I wore 3 coats of Edge of the World.
I can't get over how incredibly gorgeous this polish is. It's so squishy! :D
I hate that Seche Vite seems to shrink jelly polishes more than any other, though. :( It's very frustrating. It's not that visible in these photos but it was pretty bad on my thumb. I'll have to find a new topcoat to use on jelly polishes like this one. If you have any suggestions please let me know. :)

  1. What a pretty polish! *w* I really dig this marine kind of colours.

I ordered Seche Vite after reading all the raving reviews once and threw it away half-finished. I'd shrink EVERY my polish, unless I applied it the next day, which totally defeated its whole purpose. So I set off for the perfect top coat quest...and found it! It's Essence Better Than Gel Nails High Gloss top sealer from the Studio Nails collection (gosh, that's a lot of words) and it's marvellous. Very glossy, very manageable, doesn't shrink and is cheap (I bought mine in Europe, though). There's also Quick Dry version, but it contains phthalates (HG is 3-Free). So if you ever come across it - grab it! :D
