Shades of Phoenix Let's Hear It For The Girls Collection

Hey there! You all (hopefully) know that Shades Of Phoenix is one of my absolute favourite indie brands so I am so excited to show you their brand new Let's Hear It For The Girls collection! :D

Without further ado here are the swatches! :) Sorry this post is going to be pic heavy!
I've included light box and outdoor photos because I think glitters show their true beauty outdoors! At least that's the best way I can capture them. :)

Swatches after the jump! :)
Artemis
Artemis is a white creamy base with rosy pink larger glitters and rosy pink & gold micro glitters.
This was very easy to apply, with lots of glitter in every coat! I really like this, very cute. The only thing that would make me like it a little more would be if it's a teeny bit more sheer so you can see the glitters through the base a bit better, but apart from that, it's great.
I used two easy coats for my swatch topped with Seche Vite top coat.

Athena
Athena is a blackened red jelly base, with small red and black glitters as well as some larger black glitters sprinkled throughout.
This was super easy to apply! Again, every coat had great glitter coverage. Something I hate with polishes like this is when you barely get any glitters with every coat but this one is packed with the glitters which I love. I adore Athena, it's so vampy and gorgeous for this time of year in Australia! :)
I used 3 coats (2 regular coats, 1 thin coat) of Athena with Seche Vite top coat.

Ceto
Ceto is a teal jelly (leaning more on the blue side of teal however), with blue, aqua and white glitters throughout. It also has some larger blue circle glitters. The white glitters look aqua though once the jelly base covers them on the nail. :)
Another one with a great formula. The glitter coverage in this was also great (I feel like a broken record saying that about every one haha - sorry!) and it's just a beautiful polish overall! I love these sorts of blue/green jellies. ♥
Something to note about this one however, is that it did lightly stain my nails. But I didn't wear a base coat when I swatched it, so I'm sure two coats of base coat would prevent any staining. :) And if not, I just scrubbed my nails with toothpaste for 30 seconds and the stains were all gone. A small price to pay for such a beautiful polish in my opinion!
I wore 3 coats (2 regular coats, 1 thin coat) with Seche Vite top coat.

Chloris
Chloris is a baby pink creamy base with all different coloured glitters.
This is so cute and fun! It definitely reminds me of a party or birthday haha.
Awesome glitter coverage in this one. I love that Shades of Phoenix polishes require no fishing for glitters. :)
Again the only thing I'd say is that I'd like it to be a bit more sheer so that the glitters show through a little more but it's still really cute.
I used 2 coats for my swatch with Seche Vite top coat.

Enyo
Enyo is a burnt orange jelly base with orange, red and yellow hex and square glitters.
Again the formula on this was fantastic. I love the burnt orange colour! I haven't seen any indies like this lately and again this one will be perfect for the colder weather here right now!
I could've gotten away with doing two coats but I did three to get more glitters on the nail, topped with Seche Vite.

Eris
Eris is a black (maybe actually navy..? I can't really tell) jelly base with all different coloured glitters in it. I see mostly blue, green-y yellow and red but there's other colours. Some of the glitters are even duochrome-like which is sooo cool! There's some small blue bar glitters in this but they're so small. I don't like larger bar glitters but really these are more like rectangle glitters haha. They are also duochrome and they sort of flash blue-purple! It's really cool.
Though colours like this usually aren't really my style, I do like this one! On the first coat it looked very sheer but it built up really nicely in the second coat, so I only needed two coats! :)
I used 2 coats with Seche Vite.

Hermera
Hermera is the only clear base polish in this collection. It's a mix of gold and rosy pink glitters and is meant to layer over another colour. It's pretty packed with glitter though so if you really wanted to, I bet you could get this opaque in 3 or 4 dabbed on coats! I've included a sun photo of this one too because it was soo beautiful and sparkly in the sun. :) In my photos a lot of other colours come out that I couldn't even see in person! I was pleasantly surprised. :)
1 coat over Sinful Colors Easy Going and Orly Rage.
I also think this one would look amazing over a glitter like China Glaze I'm Not Lion! :)

Mother is God 2.0
Mother is God 2.0 is a creamy mauve-y pink base, with golden pink micro glitters as well as purple holographic squares and hexes!
Unfortunately I only got a few of the larger hex glitters on my nail.
This one wasn't really my style but it is really pretty.
2 coats with Seche Vite top coat.

Persephone
Last but not least, Persephone is  a really amazing complex polish. It is a deep plum purple base, with an absolutely gorgeous blue/purple duochrome shimmer, and lots of small purple glitter.
This is amazingly unique! I have never seen anything quite like it. It looks quite magical in the bottle! Haha.
I've also included a sunlight photo of this one so you can see the beautiful shimmer! :)
This is 3 coats with Seche Vite top coat. You can definitely do two coats but the shimmer really pops with 3.
Persephone is going to be limited edition (and only available to Australians via the Etsy store - this one will not be available at international stockists) so make sure you get your hands on this pretty! :)

As I've said before, I absolutely love all of Shades of Phoenix's polishes. They are always really unique and well made. I can't get enough of them really. I love that they have something for everyone! From people who like dark and vampy colours, to light and girly colours, there really is something for everyone in Shades of Phoenix's polish line. :)

The Shades of Phoenix Let's Hear It For The Girls collection will be available (along with all of their other polishes) on Monday the 20th of May at 6PM EST on her Etsy store, and they will soon be available via Color4Nails for international ladies! :D
