I know a lot of people don't like French manicures but I've always thought that they look classic and pretty. Not something I'd wear all the time of course because I love my polish colours too much. ;)
Just to make sure everyone isn't confused - my nails are round at the moment as you may have seen on my Instagram, or in my last post. This post (and a few posts coming up) were all done before my nail broke and I had to round them off.
For my mani I used the French Pink and French White polishes by Manicare which I was given in a gift set for Christmas last year. Both polishes were a nice consistency. The pink was a little streaky as expected but not too bad, and the white was opaque enough that I didn't have to go back and do a second coat for the white tips. Which is helpful because you don't want your tips to be super thick and never dry! I topped it off with my favourite top coat, Seche Vite.
I love the look of a clean and classic french mani, it's the perfect palate cleanser :)
ReplyDeleteI think just like you, I need some "clean" nails once in a while, it makes me feel calm and peaceful, hehe. I really like the colors, it looks so natural and yet mantained nails.
