I have a new indie brand (to me, anyway) to share with you today! Hollish Nails is from right here in SA! :)
She has just released a huge range of new polishes on her store! I have six glitters from Hollish to show you.
I'll talk about the formula etc, at the end. :)
Berries Gone Wild is a clear base with hot pink, orange, and two shades of purple glitter. I layered 1 coat over Ulta3 Black Satin for my swatch + 1 coat of top coat.
Copper Rose is a clear base with rose and copper glitter. I layered 1 coat over Essence My Little Kimono + 1 coat of top coat.
Frogs In a Pond is a clear base with blue, green and grey glitter. I layered 1 coat over Essie Maximillian Strasse-her + 1 coat of top coat. (Absolutely love this combo!)
Nice Melons is a clear base with rose and gold glitter. I layered 1 coat over Essie A Crewed Interest + 1 coat of top coat.
Wink is a clear base with periwinkle blue, purple and pale green glitter. I layered 1 coat over China Glaze Secret Periwinkle + 1 coat of top coat.
Wistful Wisteria is a shimmery/clear base with different shades of purple and white glitter. I layered 1 coat over Covergirl Lav-endure.
All of the polishes had a nice formula. Not too thick and not too runny. Great glitter payoff in one coat, but if you wanted more you can just add another coat.
They're all very versatile glitters that can be worn many different ways, over so many different colours! Most of them would also work lovely for glitter gradients.
I loved all of these, but I think my favourites were Wistful Wisteria, and Frogs In A Pond!
You can purchase these polishes from Hollish Nails on Etsy. Also check out her Facebook page and follow her on Instagram.
