Hey guys! You probably know that I love my iPhone and phones in general. I also adore phone cases & phone accessories.
The lovely Jasmine of Color Coated Creations (you might know her blog Colour Coated) had me review some of her new iPhone home button stickers! Although they say they're 'iPhone' buttons, you could also use them on an iPod Touch or an iPad (or any phone/tablet really that has a circular button the same size as an iPhone button).
Each home button sticker is made with a glass bead and nail polish. Jasmine has a TON of polishes to choose from on her Etsy store but you can also create a custom one (providing she has the polish you'd like her to use haha). :) The buttons have a sticker back and are really easy to apply to your phone, and you can remove them and switch it up too!
**This post will probably be quite pic heavy - sorry!**

I have two buttons to show you. One is made with Lynnderella Love Potion 99.9, and the other is Lynnderella Deep Blue Seeing. I asked Jasmine for Love Potion 99.9 and she threw in Deep Blue Seeing as a surprise one. :)

I decided to use Love Potion 99.9 first. :) This is actually one of the Lynnderella polishes I want the most so it's nice to be able to "have it". Haha.
Jasmine's instructions to put the botton onto your phone are to first wipe your phone clean with some alcohol or vinegar just to clean the surface. Then pull off the backing paper to reveal the sticky side. (Pictured right) Be careful, I almost pulled off the whole sticker part LOL. And then push it onto the home button section of the phone.
One thing I will say that once the button is applied to your phone, it does stick up quite a bit higher than the phone surface. My photos make it look worse than it actually is, though. Haha. It's not like, annoying or anything but I thought I would mention it. I do usually use home button stickers that I buy from eBay or elsewhere and these are larger (as in "higher") than the ones I usually use.
And just to be a bit cheesy, here's what my phone looks like with the button applied and you can see my wallpaper of my boyfriend & I. ;P
What better way to bling up your phone than with NAIL POLISH!? ;)
I absolutely love these buttons. They make my phone look 100000x better haha. I think they're the perfect phone accessory for nail polish lovers, or even if you don't love nail polish I'm sure any girl who enjoys anything sparkly would love these! They'd also make a nice gift for a friend, I think! :)

These buttons are $5 each, or $8 for 2 and you can purchase them from the Color Coated Creations Etsy store. Shipping is also really affordable.
Jasmine also sells rings, pendants and earrings on her store! And she has a pretty awesome nail polish collection too so there's so many gorgeous polishes to choose from! :D

I'd love one... but it wouldn't last any longer than 5 minutes... and one of the students would probably peel it off!
ReplyDeleteMine's lasted 4 days so far and I don't think it'll fall off :) it's really sticky!
DeleteI looove anything with nail polish at the moment (as you know!) but I think like you mentioned, it may be a bit TOO big for use of a home button and make the phone a bit bulkier than it should be. but WOW, your close ups of the work she did, they're gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThis is amazing. I love your idea and appreciate your job. Thanks for sharing. ucuz cep telefon
