Lilypad Lacquer True Blood

Hey guys! I have a seriously amazing polish to show you today! I am very glad that the sun came out when I swatched this baby! :D But that's not to say that it wasn't freezing cold. I felt like my feet were going to drop off when I was photographing this, they were so cold & numb LOL. It's been so cold and miserable here so it was nice for the sun to come out. :) Anyway, this polish is incredible so I'm sorry if I pic spam you a little, hehe.

This is True Blood by Lilypad Lacquer! A super deep vampy purple-y linear holo amazingness.

This was almost opaque in 1 coat but I did two. :) Super lovely, buttery formula (It's hard to explain what I actually mean by buttery... LOL, but I think I mean like 'smooth'). I did add one coat of top coat to this and I don't think it dulled the holo at all. :) Sometimes when you add top coat to some holos, it may look as though the holo has dulled but once the top coat dries a bit it usually comes back. :) But with certain holos (like the China Glaze OMG collection, I believe) it sadly does dull them.


Lilypad Lacquer is like the queen of holos, in my opinion. :D She has so many different holo colours. And I don't even like holos that much! But hers are amazing.
My main problem I have with holos is that they look ugly unless you're in the sun. They always look super grey and silvery in the shade or inside and I just don't like that! But this polish isn't like that. Being a holo, it does have a little bit of a silvery look in the shade but it's nothing like other holos I've tried.

And no, just in case anyone asks. I don't watch True Blood. :P But a lot of ladies wore this polish for the premiere the other day (I think that's what it was..? Haha) and it made me want to try mine too. :) And I'm so glad the sun was out when I did! :D
