Sweet Tips Nails Review

Sweet Tips Nails is an indie nail polish brand from Canada! Jen makes super cute glitter polishes as well as nail/body care products! I have 5 polishes to show you as well as 2 of their care products. :) There's quite a few photos in this post so let's jump right in. :)

Bouquet For Mom is a clear base with a mix of green, purple, white, red and yellow glitters, including hearts and flower shaped gitters! The shapes weren't difficult to pick up at all, it's packed with them! :) This is absolutely adorable! It would be so perfect for spring time which is coming up next month here. :D
I layered 1 coat over Sally Hansen Mint Sorbet + top coat.

M.A.B.E.L is a baby pink creamy base with a mix of pink, red and white glitters including hearts. :)
This was really nice to apply, a little streaky on the first coat but the second coat was pretty good but needed a 3rd coat to totally be opaque. This kinda reminds me of a strawberry smoothie haha.
I used 3 coats + top coat.

Mama's Morning Glories is a pastel blue base with blue, purple, yellow, white and green glitters.
This one was so super easy to apply and rather opaque too. It's just so cute. :D The blue base is right up my alley! My favourite type of blue colour!
I used 2 coats + top coat.

My Bonnie Lies Over the Ocean is a clear base with blue, turquoise, white, bronze and silver glitters. This is totally gorgeous and super packed with glitter! A glitter bomb! I think it would look pretty over heaps of different colours too. Some of the glitters in this have a reflective curl, but they don't stick up on the nail at all. :) My photos do not do this polish justice. It's so beautiful.
I layered 1 coat over Essie Borrowed & Blue + top coat.

Up In Heaven is a grey jelly base with blue and silver glitters. With... stars, hearts and moons! :D
Before applying this to my nails I actually thought it was more opaque than it really is. So I didn't apply it over a base colour. You could honestly wear it on its own, or you could layer it over another colour if you like. :) The base is sheer enough that it wouldn't look weird layered over something else.
I used 2 dabbed coats + top coat.

Now I have two of the Sweet Tips Nails care products to show you. :)

Caramel Apple Lip Balm
The caramel apple lip balm smells sooo yummy and very autumn-esque too. Some scents do give me a headache and I have to admit, this one did a little bit but not as bad as some scents do. It's not bad enough to make me not want to use it. ;) It makes my lips feel so lovely, moisturised and smooth. It feels like it melts into my lips. ♥ When it first came in the mail I actually thought it was a cuticle balm so I put a little on my cuticles, and it works really nicely on my cuticles too! :) A little bit goes a long way with this stuff so it will last a while! :)
These lip balms come in - wait for it - FORTY FOUR SCENTS. Yep, 44! Isn't that crazy?! Haha so there is sure to be a scent that you like! :)

Cotton Candy Body Butter
This again, smells amazing. Very sweet and sugary smelling. :) It's a quite thick consistency. I've been using this on my hands a bit and it makes them feel super soft. These body butters also come in 44 scents! :D So awesome.
This is just a sample size (0.25oz) of the body butter, but it also comes in 2oz and 4oz sizes.

^ Excuse my naked stained nails lol.

The nail polishes in this post will be released Friday the 16th - Canada time. So that would be tomorrow (Saturday) for us Aussies.
The body butter & lip balm are permanent products.

I definitely recommend you get your hands on some of these adorable polishes or body/hand/nail care products! (She also has body sprays and cuticle balms! I would LOVE to try those soon!!) Apart from the products being amazing themselves, her packaging is also really cute. She also does custom polishes which is really cool! Mini nail polishes are $4.27 (AUD) and full sizes are $9.69 (AUD). All of her products are very affordable for an indie brand in my opinion.

  5. Oh wow, I really have to try this out! I loved a lot of the colours, and they seemed like a good 'gateway glitter' to those of us not as experienced. Also... lip balms at that price?! HELL YES.
