Love Month. Day 13: Sweethearts Duo. ♥ - A Pretty Pots Collaboration.

Today I have something special to share with you. :) I am so insanely excited about it!

A couple of months ago, Jalene from Pretty Pots asked me if I'd like to collaborate with her on a polish duo to celebrate my engagement to Russ!
I helped Jalene come up with a concept for both polishes for the duo and they turned out absolutely perfect; just what I was picturing in my mind!

This duo is called the Sweethearts Duo. ♥

This duo consists of one classic bridal sheer pink, and a fun glitter topper.

The sheer pink is called High School Sweethearts, and it is the perfect classic, sheer pale pink (very pale, nearly white) for a bride. This is exactly the type of colour I'd like to wear on the big day!

The formula is fantastic. Streak free (amazing for a sheer pink!), self levelling and dries fast.
My swatch shows 2 coats, with one coat of top coat.

The name for this polish is inspired by my fiance and I. We have been together since I was just 14! That shocks some people. I knew since I was 14 that he was the guy I wanted to be with. :)

The glitter topper, Happily Ever After, is a clear base with a silver holographic micro-shimmer, as well as some pink, lavender, white and silver glitters in various sizes, and silver hearts.

The formula on this one is also great! The glitters go on smoothly and easily. You do have to fish for the hearts a teeeeny bit, but that's pretty standard for large glitters.

My swatch shows one coat of Happily Ever After over 2 coats of High School Sweethearts.

This is adorable, and a lot of fun! It's probably a little more out there than what I'd wear for my wedding day, but this polish will be so cute for a bridal shower, hen's night, engagement party or something like that!
You could also make a super cute jelly sandwich if you did another coat of High School Sweethearts over this!

These polishes will always hold a special place in my heart. :) Thank you soooo much to Jalene for doing this collaboration with me. ♥

The Sweethearts Duo is available from tomorrow, the 14th of February, to pre-order from Pretty Pots, and will officially launch on the 28th of Feb!

  1. These are so beautiful! I do think the glitter or combination of the two would be perfect for a bridal shower or something similar! I think of I had custom polishes made for an event like this I'd want to display them in a little case!

  10. Thanks Rose! :) I know right, I don't think I've tried *any* sheer pink that isn't at least a little streaky! This one is perfect. Jalene did an amaaaazing job.
